Dear dugavpiliete, to be honest with you this country means lot for us. Many of us call it Motherland because they were born in Latvia, lived here all the time, worked for this country and payed their taxes to the government who is not recognising anyone exept latvians. Why my culture and language treated over here as it was imported from outside? This is not true. Our parents and grandparents lived here for ages and their efforts towards Latvia should not be underestimated. I would like to point your attention on the fact that we are not asking the priority for russian-speakers but we expect the equal rights for all nationalities in Latvia. And this is fair enough.
